All of us know that Aesop was a slave. Unlike other owners, Aesop's owner was a kind hearted gentleman. He never ill-treated his slaves. At times he used to give them some free time to enjoy.
On one such occasion, all the slaves plan to go for a picnic on a nearby hillock. They carried sports material, eatables and other necessary items with them. All of them chose some or the other light weight material. But Aesop chose to carry all the eatables. The load was heavy and Aesop was hardly managing to walk with that load. Everybody was laughing at him. Finally they reached the hillock, of course Aesop was the last one.
Whole day they played the games, sang, danced and also finished all those tasty food items they had carried. By evening, they were happy but completely tired. They started back with all the items they had carried in the morning. As they were tired, they were finding it very difficult to carry back those items, but had no choice.
Only Aesop was whistling, singing and chuckling. The reason was very simple. He had nothing to carry back. All the eatables were finished during the day.
When they reached home, only Aesop was fresh to get back to his work.
Learning:
It is very important to approach the situation from all the sides. Appropriate analysis of the situation, coupled with corresponding plan of action leads to definite success in any of the undertaken task.
